Payment Advocacy
Are you experiencing payment, customer service or other issues in working with Medicare, Medicaid, or a commercial health insurance payer? The OMA is available to work with private and public payers to resolve these matters on your behalf. Please submit an advocacy request form, now available online, so we can begin to assist you today. If you need to send Protected Health Information for further documentation, please complete, sign and fax a Business Associate Agreement. Health Care Finance Committee
The OMA's Health Care Finance Committee is charged to:
1. Serve as the formal liaison with health plans, public payers or regulatory bodies to address member concerns
2. Provide recommendations to the House of Delegates; and
3. Act as a vetting body for the legislative committee on health care finance-related matters.
The Health Care Finance Committee is available to assist health care providers with issues and concerns regarding payers and payment.
