Faculty: Chrys Martin's practice focuses on employment law and employee benefits from the management perspective. She represents many health care professionals and medical practices. Her prior experience in human resources and management allows for practical advice to clients faced with complex employment issues.
Chrys has litigated for 28 years and her practice focuses on counseling and training for private and public employers regarding employment, labor, and benefits issues including: discrimination, discipline, discharge, documentation, harassment, wage and hour, union negotiations, grievances, employee handbooks, employee contracts, employee benefits, ERISA, fiduciary liability, independent contractor agreements, non-competes, confidentiality agreements, personnel investigations, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act (LLFPA), Older Worker Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA), RIF's and selected litigation.
Chrys was named by Chambers USA as one of America's leading business lawyers in employment for 2006-2009 and selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America 2007-2010, under Labor and Employment Law. Chrys was also honored in the 2006-2009 Oregon Super Lawyers, a listing reflecting the top 5% of lawyers in Oregon based on peer recognition and professional achievement. Her team's creativity in the largest investment manager fraud case in U.S. history was lauded in Of Counsel magazine and in a segment that aired on CNBC.

This updated boot camp will provide practical management training and techniques for medical professionals, supervisors, office managers and HR professionals. The training will empower participants to deal with the tough issues they face when managing employees. An updated comprehensive coursebook serves as a future reference guide for participants.

In-Person Workshop Details
Tuition: Includes refreshments and all course materials. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to each workshop.
Registration Deadline: Registration closes three business days before the event. On-site payment is accepted as long as we receive your registration form by the deadline.
Cancellation Policy: All refund requests must be made with seven business days’ notice. Registered participants who plan to pay on-site who do not attend, or who do not cancel with seven business days’ notice, will be billed the full price of registration. Substitutions are permitted with prior notification.
Photography Policy: By virtue of registering to attend this OMA event, you grant OMA full rights to use any photos/videos/recordings containing your likeness taken during the routine course of the event, by OMA or its official representatives, to be used in any future promotional endeavors of OMA, without any further notice.
