The OMA's 2013 General Membership Meeting was a Success
In April 2012, the OMA started the tradition of holding an Annual General Membership Meeting in the spring. The OMA’s 2013 General Membership Meeting, Poverty Stricken: Providing Care in Challenging Times, was a huge success. Our health fair served uninsured adults; we raised funds for medical and PA students and awarded $20,000 in sholarships.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors and donors for their generous support, without which we could not have held these successful events. Click the links below to learn more and see photos from the weekend:

Care Connection 2013 Health Fair
On Friday, April 19, OMA staff, member volunteers and our great team of partners held the first annual Care Connection health fair to provide screenings, referrals, immunizations and educational materials to uninsured adults in Portland. Approximately 200 patients, some of whom traveled across the state, were served in some capacity, and everyone who showed up for care was treated. See a complete list of our partners and services provided here.
