Policy - OMA

OMA affirms the contents of these documents, Where We Stand – A Guide to OMA Policy and Where We Stood – A Historical Guide to OMA Policy, represents official and former OMA policy, respectively. Further, OMA provides that all policy is subject to review at any meeting of OMA

Such policies, however, shall be subject to automatic review 10 years from the date of their original adoption, reaffirmation, or revision.

OMA should reference its policies by a topic system reference by the action taken similar to the AMA Policy Compendium.

OMA should adhere to the sunset mechanism to review policy actions older than 10 years with reports from the Where We Stand Task Force to the of the Speaker.

OMA should make Where We Stand – A Guide to OMA Policy and Where We Stood – A Historical Guide to OMA Policy available to all members on OMA website.
