Adopted by the Board of Trustees, October 2017.
See Appendix S

The OMA will actively oppose efforts by private payers, hospitals, Congress, state legislatures, and the Administration to impose policies designed to control utilization and costs of medical services unless those policies can be expected to assure quality while achieving cost savings.
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 2006.

Any programs intended to control utilization and cost of medical services place a high priority on the ongoing education of physicians and other health care providers and administrators, enhancing the relationship between the patient, the physicians and the health plan or any consultants or third parties with whom they contract.
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 2006.
