Physician Reimbursement - Medicare - Resource Based Relative Value Scale

OMA supports the policy of the American Medical Association concerning the Resource Based Relative Value Scale.
(RBRVS).
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 1995.
Reaffirmed at the annual House of Delegates, 2011.


OMA encourages our Federal Congressional Delegation to join with other disadvantages states to secure parity and fairness in the distribution of Medicare dollars.
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 2004.


The OMA encourages the appropriate funding of cognitive and case management services that will require the redistribution of resources currently allotted to pay for low risk diagnostic tests and procedures.
