Research
OMA strongly supports the humane use of animals in biomedical research in all educational institutions and research facilities; supports intensifying its activities to inform the general public about the need for the use of animals in research and respond to unfounded attacks against the proper and humane use of animals in biomedical research; supports and promotes legislation that is favorable to biomedical research at local, state and national levels, and continues to oppose restrictive legislation.
