Confidential Peer Review Process

It is the policy of OMA to support a confidential investigative process that protects citizens, patients, and physicians in order to encourage the identification of issues and concerns, and public disclosure of any and all actions adopted by the Board and will oppose any effort to weaken fundamental principles of effective and responsible peer review. OMA supports international collaboration to ensure patient safety throughout the world.
