Disruptive Physician

OMA resolves to explore ways and means to prevent misuse of the “Disruptive Physician Doctrine,” and that the review of the subject include consideration of definition of terms, case finding, applicable law, the applicability of “whistle blower” statutes, the feasibility of requiring external fair hearings in the court system at the option of subject physician and requests for assistance and advice from the AMA.
