Currently anyone 5 and older is eligible to get the vaccine. Certain immunocompromised patients are eligible to get a third dose. Booster shots have been recommended for everyone 12 and older. Booster shots do not need to be the same brand as the primary series. A booster of Moderna (18 and up) or Pfizer (12 and up) is recommended. Boosters of Johnson and Johnson should only be given in certain situations.
