Sejal Hathi, MD, MBA is the current Oregon Health Authority Director. Dr. Hathi comes to Oregon after serving most recently as New Jersey's deputy health commissioner for public health services and its designated state health officer. Prior to that, she served in the Biden-Harris Administration for two years as the White House’s Senior Policy Advisor for Public Health, leading various domestic presidential policy priorities. A board-certified attending physician, she also held joint faculty appointments as an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine & Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Donn Spight, MD, FACS, is a professor of surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and a staff physician in the Operative Care Division at the Portland VA Medical Center. Since 2018, he has served as the medical director of OHSU Simulation, where he plays a vital role in healthcare training. A passionate advocate for health equity, Dr. Spight is actively involved in various community boards and currently holds the position of Vice President for Health Equity at OHSU. His commitment to both improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved populations drives his work both in the classroom and the community.
