Children’s Program

OMA endorses the basic concept and scope of services to be provided under the Oregon Healthy Kids Program as an important first step in meeting the unmet health needs of our state’s children. Furthermore, OMA endorses the inclusion of infants who have required neonatal intensive care.

Reaffirmed by the Board of Trustees, June 2012. 


OMA encourages its physicians caring for mothers and children to be advocates for parental participation in the voluntary screening process available both prenatally and around birth through the Oregon Healthy Kids Program.
