Access to High Quality Evidence Based Cost Effective Health Care
The OMA in order to ensure that all Americans will have access to high quality, evidence-based
and cost-effective health care urges the Oregon Congressional Delegation and the US
Congress to enact comprehensive health system reform after ensuring an honest, full, and fair
debate of the options. This debate should include the advantages and disadvantages of Single-
Payer, Medicare-for-all, and pluralistic systems.
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 2009.
