Home Health Services

OMA endorses cost-efficient and comprehensive in-home services including nursing care, medical social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, nutritional counseling and homemaker/health aide services; and urges that physicians provide their patients with available information concerning home health services in their community, and assist home health agencies in the development of methods to improve and augment services. Physicians are encouraged to fully utilize the efficient and effective home health care delivery system.
