Accreditation

Essentials for Accreditation of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education were adopted as OMA policy for use in its accreditation of intrastate providers of continuing medical education under the auspices of the Institutional Accreditation Committee.

Adopted at the interim House of Delegates, 1983.
Reaffirmed at the annual House of Delegates, 2011.



OMA adopted as policy a procedure for appealing decisions of the Institutional Accreditation Committee by sponsors of continuing medical education seeking accreditation.
Adopted at the annual House of Delegates, 1992.
Reaffirmed at the annual House of Delegates, 2011.
