Benefit Coverage
OMA endorses treatment of mentally ill patients as integral and essential to health care delivery, treatment that should be covered by health care benefits in the same manner as other illnesses, and continue to support and foster the recognition and cooperation of all concerned with the medical aspects of the care of patients with mental disorders.
Adopted at the interim House of Delegates, 1989.
Reaffirmed at the annual House of Delegates, 2011.
