Sugar Sweetened Beverages Policy

The OMA, in alignment with the joint policy statement of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association endorsing an SSB tax, the Oregon Medical Association through collaboration with other similarly aligned organizations will seek to improve public health by jointly exploring options to reduce consumption of sugar sweetened beverages including education and possible taxes.
