Student Section

Full-time medical students, residents, and physician assistant students currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution in good standing located in Oregon are exempt from paying OMA dues. The OMA encourages students and residents to get involved in organized medicine by joining OMA committees and attending workshops and events, as well as participating in the OMA Student Section.

The OMA Student Section is a collection of PA, MD, and DO student members of the Oregon Medical Association, who gather at meetings and decide how to spend their budget on various projects, initiatives, and events.
Student Section Leaders are elected by vote, and leaders serve their term from June of one year to June of the next year. Meetings are generally held on weekend mornings, both in person and online.
For more information on the OMA Student Section visit the Student Section community, found in the Communities tab on your profile page.

If you're interested in getting involved or have feedback, contact the OMA.
