Care After Covid Author, Shantanu Nundy, Headlines OMA Conference

The Oregon Medical Association’s flagship event focuses on practice transformation opportunities, physician and physician assistant wellness, and health equity as a new chapter of the pandemic unfolds


PORTLAND, Ore.—The Oregon Medical Association (OMA), the state’s largest professional organization engaging in advocacy, policy, community-building, and networking opportunities for Oregon’s physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and medical and PA students, is honored to present an appearance by Shantanu Nundy, MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer for Accolade, and author of Care After Covid, a practical action plan for reinventing healthcare in a post-pandemic world.

The presentation is part of “Medicine Now: Transition & Resilience”, the OMA’s 2022 Annual Conference, scheduled for Saturday, October 1, from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm at the Hilton Portland Downtown, 921 SW Sixth Avenue.

In addition, the conference will highlight two additional keynote speakers, Sylvia Trujillo, JD, MPP, Senior Director of Policy for OCHIN, Inc., and Michael Tutty, PhD, MHA, Group Vice President of Professional Satisfaction and Practice Sustainability at the American Medical Association.

The OMA Annual Conference is also the annual meeting of the OMA membership. At the event, the association will present annual service awards and will install Marianne Parshley, MD as the 147th OMA President. Parshley is a Portland-based internal medicine specialist with Providence Portland Medical Center and a strong advocate of whole patient care, recognizing that health is affected by all parts of an individual’s life.
