"The Right Test for Your Risk": Colorectal Cancer Screening Tools for Clinicians

Nearly one in three adults in the U.S. aren’t getting screened for colon cancer as recommended. Yet, colon cancer has a 90% survival rate when detected early. The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) has embarked on an educational campaign to raise awareness among primary care clinicians and patients on the importance of appropriate screening. The OMA encourages all clinicians to view and download the patient education resources made available by the ASGE, including printable office/practice posters, patient letter templates, and an article for local newspapers.

"The Right Test for Your Risk" campaign assists all physicians, PAs, and other medical professionals to help their patients understand their risk factors and learn which tests may be right for them. Visit the ASGE webpage for more information and to download resources today.
